1. How much does it cost?
We offer 30, 60 and 120 minute experiences at £95, £145 and £195 respectively. The longer two-hour session can be for one person or shared between two people attending at the same time. Stripe, our payment platform, supports a wide range of payment methods.
2. WHAT'S INCLUDED IN THE INTRO FLIGHT?
This 30-minute no-frills session begins with the simulator already lined up on the runway – minimal briefing, no delay. You’ll take off from Stansted and fly to Heathrow, assisting the captain with hands-on experience along the way. It’s a great way to dip your toes into the world of aviation before booking a full experience.
3. ARE BRIEFINGS INCLUDED IN THE LONGER SESSIONS?
Yes. The one-hour and two-hour experiences include a full pre-flight briefing so please allow a few extra minutes for this! You’ll learn about the flight plan, cockpit layout and systems before taking to the virtual skies. These sessions are immersive, educational and tailored to your interest and experience level.
4. Does the simulator move?
Our simulator is a fixed-base Boeing 737-800 variant and does not generate movement.
Due to the wrap-around high-definition visuals, the experience is fully immersive, and many pilots experience a feeling of genuine flight inside the simulator.
5. Who will be my instructor on the day?
We are a father and son family business. You will be instructed on the day by either Jonathan or Harrison Grose.
6. WHAT ARE THE AGE RESTRICTIONS FOR PARTICIPANTS?
Participants must be at least 8 years old. Ideally, we recommend 12 and up, but younger children are welcome if they’re genuinely passionate about aviation. We don’t have height restrictions – interest and engagement are what count most.
7. ARE THERE ANY PHYSICAL RESTRICTIONS OR ACCESSIBILITY LIMITATIONS?
As we operate from a residential setting, there are a few limitations to be aware of. Unfortunately we’re unable to accommodate wheelchair users, as access to the simulator involves navigating a standard doorway and stepping into a narrow cockpit space.
There is also a maximum participant weight limit of 18 stone (114 kg) due to the physical design of the simulator seat and controls.

8. CAN I BRING GUESTS OR A GROUP WITH ME?
You’re welcome to bring one guest, who will sit in the jump seat just behind the pilots. From there, they’ll be able to see and hear everything that happens on the flight deck. As we’re residentially based, we’re unable to accommodate larger groups or family parties – we aim to provide a focused, professional experience with minimal distractions.
9. HOW DO I BOOK AND PAY FOR A SESSION?
You can book your flight on our bookings page. All sessions are paid in full at the time of booking. Simply choose your preferred flight experience and complete your purchase online. You’ll receive email confirmation and a flight voucher through the post – a gift recipient can then choose a convenient date and time for their experience by accessing our live calendar online.
10. Where is the simulator?
We are based in Bishop’s Stortford, 3 miles from Stansted Airport. Precise directions will be supplied upon booking.
