No. Your instructor will explain the controls and guide you throughout the session. If you already fly, we can tailor the longer sessions to your experience and interests.

Our 45-minute introductory is £125, the 90 minute experience is £195 and the two hour experience is £245. The two-hour session can be shared betwen two people attending together.

You begin lined up on the runway, with a short introduction to the controls. You’ll take the controls for a flight from Stansted to Heathrow, with your instructor guiding you along the way.

Yes. The 90-minute and two-hour experiences begin with a full pre-flight briefing at the controls, covering the flight, aircraft and its sytems before you get airborne. The 45-minute introductory flight has a shorter briefing and begins on the runway.

No. It’s a fixed-base Boeing 737-800 simulator, so the cockpit itself doesn’t physically move. However, once you’re inside the enclosed flight deck, the wrap-around visuals create a remarkably convincing sensation of flight as you turn, climb and descend.

Either Jonathan or Harrison Grose. Jonathan is a former Boeing 737 Captain and Training Captain with more than 13,000 hours of flying experience. Harrison is a private pilot who helped build the simulator and will soon begin air traffic controller training with NATS.

Absolutely. We welcome everyone from complete beginners to experienced pilots. Longer sessions can be tailored to your experience, with different routes, approaches, weather and operating scenarios.

Yes, you can bring one guest. They'll sit in the jump seat behind the pilots, where they can see and hear the session. As we’re based at a private residential property, visits are limited to two people in total.

The minimum age is 8, although we generally recommend the experience for ages 12 and over. Younger children with a keen interest in aviation are very welcome.

Unfortunately not. Access involves a standard doorway, a step and a narrow cockpit space. There is also a maximum participant weight of 18 stone (114 kg). Please contact us before buying if you’re unsure whether the experience is suitable.

No. Once you have your voucher number, you or your gift recipient can choose a date and time using our online booking calendar.

Vouchers are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase, giving you plenty of time to choose a convenient date.

Yes. The two-hour experience can be shared between two people attending together. The visit is still limited to two people in total.

Plans changed? Simply return to our booking calendar and choose a new date and time using your voucher number. Your booking will automatically move to the new slot and your original booking will be cancelled.
