1. How much does it cost?
We charge £145 for a one hour session for one person, or £195 for two hours which can be for one person or shared between two people. Stripe, our payment platform, supports a wide range of payment methods.
2. How long does the session last?
Each session lasts either one hour or two hours. The time makes allowance for pre-flight and post-flight briefings.
3. How many people can I bring with me?
Only one person can fly at a time. The co-pilot seat will be occupied by an instructor. We also have room for one passenger in the jump-seat of the flight deck.
Unfortunately, we are unable to cater for larger groups.
4. ARE There any age restrictions?
There are no absolute age restrictions, but please be aware that children under 4’8″ (142 cm) may struggle to reach the foot pedals or see out of the cockpit windows! Usually there would be no issues for children aged ten and upwards.
5. Does the simulator move?
Our simulator is a fixed-base Boeing 737-800 variant and does not generate movement.
Due to the wrap-around high-definition visuals, the experience is fully immersive, and many pilots experience a feeling of genuine flight inside the simulator.
6. Who will be my instructor on the day?
We are a father and son family business. You will be instructed on the day by either Jonathan or Harrison Grose.
7. Do I need to have any prior flying experience?
No. We love working with novice pilots. We are happy to work with first time flyers or with seasoned aviators.
8. Do you have disabled facilities?
As the simulator is based at a private property, we are unfortunately unable to cater for wheelchairs.
9. How do I book?

10. What happens if I can’t make it on the day of my booking?
Give us a call or send us an email, and we will re-book your session at a time that works for you.
11. Where is the simulator?
We are based in Bishop’s Stortford, 5 miles from Stansted Airport. Precise directions will be supplied upon booking.
